Student for life.

Some if not all of us have been at some point in our lives been touched by someone who taught us or who shared with us knowledge that would affect our future in some way or another.These well respected human beings undergo severe hatred from students,although all they tried to do was to broaden our horizons when it came to learning something new.And we hardly ever credited them with that.

Through our lives I doubt if any of us ever forget our knowledge bearing teacher's and professors who despite teaching year after year the same thing never ever got tired of sharing with us the lessons we were to learn to learn literally only once in a life time.Every teacher had a different way to impart this lesson some were down right sweet and some a lil harsh but who would it benefit at the end of the day? Us:)

They were born with gifts of exactly knowing who would succeed in life right from the start,seldom the wrong doers ever went unpunished and the mischievous always behaved cause they knew of the secret powers a teacher possessed. At various times in our lives when we are either at our peak or low someone comes along who guides us to get better or just gives that helping hand to stand up,they are no one but the messengers of the wonderful teachers who taught them to share this knowledge they learnt.

We ourselves have maybe consciously or unconsciously shared such knowledge learnt and pretend its our own not giving credit where it's due.Our teachers are responsible for shaping each one of us in a way so that in our journey through life we have little or no trouble at all.Most of us miss our schooling or student life all together,mainly because it was a constant learning process,some of us move on to become students of life.

For those who believe knowledge is power and refuse to share what they have learnt or know are not liked by many and don't progress much in life.The other's possess the gift of teaching,like magic they know exactly how to share what they know in a way that we understand.Imagine coming day after day with a passion for teaching a subject they are so good at.I often sense that a teacher is most gratified when he sees all his students through to the next class or level and if after they leave succeed in whatever they pursue and come back to express gratitude it would be the best feeling ever.

We all have had wonderfull teachers through school and college,We are who we are today due to the foundation laid by these talented people who never gave up on us.They deserve all the credit and more for they never seem to tire from creating the leaders of today and tomorrow.I would like to part with these few lines taken from a wondeful teacher of mine,It goes to show the perseverance one needs to have to become a "Teacher"

"We the willing,led by the unknowing,are doing the impossible,for the ungrateful,We have done so much for so long,with so little,we are now qualified to do anything with nothing"

And the compliment goes to...

Compliments are but words of truth in disguise,that at most times makes one feel flattered.Yet people aren't very gracious with their compliments.I don't know if its the fear they have that they might lose something or the fact that the person receiving the compliments would start acting too big for his/her boots.However they fail to wonder what if they don't get another chance to say the things they wanted to.

We constrain from letting someone know how we feel just to avoid getting hurt.if you have some nice things to say about someone where is there a risk of getting hurt,there is infact of making things better and the person thinking nice things about you.Ofcourse there is always the "trying to get into the good books theory" that contradicts this.But a compliment really meant and that's heartfelt does not go un noticed.

We could meet complete strangers and since most of us on our first meetings put our best foot forward we are given compliments that literally stay on make us remember that person although you might never meet again.In times of solitude one such recollection could bring out the smile on your face and you know what they say about smiling to oneself :) Although a conscious mind would never admit to wanting to hear nice things said,he sure wouldn't mind being appreciated for the hard work,kindness,caring,love etc would he?

We all meet and are are a part of each other's lives for just a few minutes of the day,yet it takes a whole lot of breaking the ego to tell someone you love them or they are the most beautiful person in the world.

Kindness in words creates confidence,
Kindness in thinking,creates profoundness,
Kindness in giving,creates love,
Love-One word that frees us of all pain in life

Everyone deserves a compliment,please make time to spare a few words To make someone feel nicer in thought or beauty.It might just be a few words for you but could make the world of a difference for your friend concerned:)

Picture Perfect End.

Isn't is Breathtaking?I always wondered if it was nature's way of saying"GoodMorning" or "Good Evening". Something that can never be recreated by man as he would just stare in awe over ages to come.We all get to remember from our memories a sight like this but I guess I am one of those lucky few who gets to see it day after day and actually look forward to another picture perfect end to a lovely day gone by.

It's been a hobby of mine to take sunset snaps ever since I started to sail.Over the years I have quite a collection of these and believe you me that not one sunset has been similar,its always a different picture spread across the horizon with a different story to tell was always beautiful.Its a pleasure to watch as the skies turn from blue to dark orange to sometimes red and even manages a shade of pink at times as the sun maintains its glow and sets over the horizon across the blue sea.Wow.It has always amazed me how could something as stunning as a sunset go unnoticed.There are times when I come back from sea and head up to my terrace just to watch the magic all over again.

The sunset sure has brought out the best works in many an artist too.It has been an inspiration to many in either writing books,songs,poetry,painting a picture or even end movies with the riding into the sunset bit.All said and done if you ever do decide to make a moment of the time you spent watching the sunset with a loved one or all by yourself,cherish it cause as beautiful as the setting maybe it cant be recreated in the exact same way once again.It was made with just you in mind :)

Flowers,Ice-cream,Chocolate.

YUMMY....In any order you choose these act as life lines for many people about to enter the world,for some who are live and well ,and for those few who are about to pass on.And those of you who avoid all three I am sure you have a substitute,maybe not as good enough like these though.As we age we need to remember somethings in life are always meant to remain sweet and just letting go,being that kid again is as important as love itself.

Isn't it a sight when u see elders go soft over a bowl of ice cream?Or a kid handling a melted chocolate bar.And flowers well they just bring about it fragrance in everyone's lives.Indulging in the above sure sends spirits soaring and we have every reason to be happy about still remains the most sought after way of saying I love you,thank you,I am sorry,it's so nice to see you after so long,congrats,all you need is a reason to celebrate.

Given the various choices these days with respect to all three the adventurous try new flavors or kinds of flowers all the time and well the I know what I like types stick to their good old taste.but all said and done isn't it fascinating that when nothing seems right in the world there is still something like chocolate and ice cream that makes the world a much better place to live in :) And if only in our oh so busy lives we take just one minute out to stop and smell the flowers we sure would find a more beautiful world around us.

My friend has recently got me to believe that flowers look better on the plants and trees themselves and well I sure wouldn't have believed till I found myself in a garden wondering why do people ever pick out the flowers,it really is more romantic when you bring the person you love to the garden that way you have an array of flowers to gift :) ofcourse there are exceptions when the person is unable to go to the egarden then you go over the top and bring the garden to them :)

For those who have no choice but to avoid sweets,my sympathies and my compatriots with the sweet tooth well if someone asks you why do you over indulge just tell them to maintain your sweetness level :) Am I a sweet fanatic? Ask any of my friends to know the truth,the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

All good things sweet and wonderful came to us humans in one form or the other,for me well they were always around wrapped in a colorful foil,on a waffle cone or at your doorstep....Life is Beautiful.

Dreams Do Come true.

When you have just one chance,just one shot to achieve what you have dreamed of and give it your all,your absolute everything like you had nothing or maybe everything to lose its rest assured you will come through.

What separates the greats from the commons are that they tend to do this at every stage that demands it and commons achieve it when they are absolutely given no choice at all.And what separates the two well just sheer belief.

Everyone of us,deep inside believes that we were born to make a difference in the world and yet when life offers us so much at hand we tend to shun away from taking the responsibilities of greatness.We start looking for excuses and what you seek you shall find.It is another feeling when you know for a fact that the whole world underestimates your capabilities and you just go ahead and prove them all wrong.A thought of mine "The truth passes through three important stages....First it is Ridiculed,secondly it becomes violently opposed and thirdly it becomes self evident "

There would be times when you begin to doubt your own capabilities and if you find just one person you love who believes in you it makes the ordeal so much easier cause most human beings need someone to re-assure themselves that at the end of the day the hard work put in is worth it.We all have within us lying dormant champions of the world yet few of us find ways to wake them up,those who do give back to life so much more and those who don't make life look like such hard work.

Edison once remarked "Every Failure of mine is another step forward" for those who have this perspective on every aspect of life should have it easy getting through tough times.I have always felt being the underdog with absolutely nothing to lose is a winner in their own rights,cause when they do give it their all they will have no regrets and that truly makes a champion.

Its my belief "whatever you vividly imagine,ardently desire,sincerely believe and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass " so don't hold back come to believe you can live your dreams because once you come to believe you no longer question it.

Listen to the Rhythm...

Many describe it as the language of love,sometimes even words are not required to convey what's really felt yet there are some amazing human beings who know the exact words that make the special verse which sums up all feelings.We underestimate the influence of music in our daily lives,for most of us it is just listening to our favorite songs day after day and as for the others they are just waiting for the new song that would in their own words blow their mind :)

Isn't it wonderful how music can change our moods whenever we want to,lift our spirits when we are feeling low,or fall in love all over again,make us unconsciously humm the tune all day long,give us the drive we are looking for to be that lil extra confident,to at the drop of a hat bring back a memory related to that song,to feel like getting jiggy with it,all this and more,Music makes it all happen and what's more it asks nothing in return.

Music is the only thing other than love that appeals to a person's heart.For some the kind of music you listen to could make the difference between being compatible and not,well cant argue can I?It would mean quite a compromise when two people in love with different taste in music have to decide on what to listen to....But frankly somehow music does find common ground,i doubt there is a logical explanation for the same.

Being a traveler I listen to music all over the world,music made in their language with their special instruments and every one has a different flavor to it each distinct with the only similarity being the common love in trying to make each sound pleasing to the ear and heart.Thats where music breaks all boundaries and reaches out to everyone irrespective of race,caste or religion.The power of music binds us all in someway or the other the message it conveys brings people together( we are the world,heal the world-MJ),sheds a ray of hope when it is required when a whole nation is in crisis(what's going on?-Sting)or even mourns the death of someone that is loved by all(candle in the wind-Elton John).

We should silently acknowledge the talented people who are inspired,work so hard and make such wonderful music that gives every one of us in someway a few minutes of the melodious sound we''d like to hear....

Friendship.

Friendship= A relationship of any kind that should last no less than one lifetime.

All of us have been lucky to have friends who would be there no matter what and for those few who are still looking for such friends don't fret they might be just around the corner its my belief that "Friends are just stranger's who have never met" To make new Friends is like being blessed all over again just when you thought that god was taking a holiday.Friends see us through some good times and are reason themselves for some bad ones but when you look past it friends are those loving human beings who love you and care for you 365 days of the year through their existence.

Friendship's are important,there are friends who are lifetime advisors and don't ever hesitate to knock sense in you when you most need it,there are friends who are there just to listen to anything you have to say offering no comments,no judgments nothing they just listen,one of the best kinds :),there are friends who are your alter ego everything matches literally your long lost twin,there are friends who you pick up fights with just for the heck of it,there are friends who you love irritating,bugging them like there is no tomorrow,there are friends who you respect,look up to,admire for the way they get around life,there are friends who you end up having a crush on and you get very possessive about them,there are friends who you would call just to have an icecream with,there are friends who you have known all your life,there are friends who make that cup of coffee when you most need it :)Some friends find in each other a soulmate they were longing for.friendship is the strongest foundation laid for the bond of love.

I have been very lucky I have friends all over the world I love meeting new people and making new friends some of them remain just acquainted and some get closer.I share a different relationship with each one of them but the base being a strong trust that I am always around.The secret lies in just accepting them as they are and make the time spent together worthwhile.I cherish all my friends cause each one of them have at some point in my life given me a reason to smile about. But Making friends is not enough at times it is more important to keep them and that is where a little effort is required.People get caught up in the daily rigamore of life that it is important to let them know you do think of them once in a while if not more often.

I love my friends every one of them,I wish them nothing but happiness to last a life time and a promise that I'm around if they need me.The least you can give in return for every new relationship found in a friend is gratitude.

Life,Love,Dancing...

Lots of Love with a dash of music and we could just dance our way through life,live by it and you will come to believe it is true.Dancing has been one of the best forms of expressing what's within since the dawn of time I can imagine and I am sure it shall always be the case.

Each one of us has a dancer within,we just hate to admit it or rather haven't been given the right occasion for us to just burn the dance floor as I put it.It really is a heartening sight to see young ones shaking a leg on one hand and on the other an aged couple just waltzing away like all was right in the world as long as they had each other.it still manages to bring a smile on my face :)

For me personally Dancing has always been a passionate affair,and when that is the case what's playing in the background rarely matters.Its just the heart that moves to the rhythm and the soul takes over.The movements needs to be as precise as the notes in the music itself.When you dance from within you stand out in a crowd,you make the person watching you feel like dancing,you make there person beside you want to be be your partner and you make the person dancing with you dance all day long.But as a dancer you forget there is a world watching,its like you belong to the floor,as if it made you complete and the music was played just as a celebration of that very moment when everything seemed perfect!Its one of the most intimate moments with oneself as I have believed "Life is not measured by the number of breath's you take,but by moments that take your breath away" and dancing brings out many such moments.....

Dance form of any kind is a treat to watch,whilst most look out for the hard steps to try to imitate for me it has always been about the expression as I said earlier what's within reflects on someone's face its especially true when dancing.Slow dancing is about two hearts that unite to become one soul and the eyes immersed in what would seem like for eternity.Its one of the easiest way to regain ground in any relationship to bridge distance of any kind.Dancing has been the best gift life has offered to me and in return I dance to celebrate life itself.

Love is about Giving.

Falling in love or being in love is one of the best feelings ever,some may beg to differ on my opinion and there are majority of those who would agree.It definitely brings out the best in us on most occasions and the worst within on those rare few,but those who go ahead,get past their differences and strive to make it work end up being the very ones who survive hard times.They just look it up as another challenge coming their way and live by the thought tough times don't last but tough people do.For those unlucky few who let it get the better of them tend to forget the very moments in their lives that seemed so beautiful,Romantic,so very much in love and take rash decisions that end up hurting everyone involved.

It would seem like the most obvious thing to do when someone is unhappy.When the heights of passion in the relationship is at a peak, things that irritate you now you found very cute then.The irony is things don't change much its how we interpret it that changes.i have personally always believed that it's more important to avoid doing the things that someone doesnt like than always do things just to get into their good books.Love should be about a little "take" and a lot of "give" cause expectations in a relationship of any kind leads to disappointment if not met.

A smile matters:)

Somethings in life are just worth living for,thought's always mattered especially those of the ones you love.Be it a moment in the past or a dream being lived it matters most when the very thought brings that curve on your beautiful face and a lucky few have slight depression in the cheeks that make it look all the more lovely.

People have many a reason to be happy about and few reasons to smile,am i contradicting my own statement,think about it? A genuine smile reflects whats heartfelt,There are times when you can actually see the smile in the persons eyes.These are little things that tend to fade away as we grow old and once we get to the old bit we start looking for it in our near and dear ones.

Having different criterions to fill to be a loved one to someone is part and parcel of life but something to strive for in all relationships should be to give them as much or rather many a reason to smile about,be it from the very silly things you do or just a random comment that makes the heart flutter:) cause at the end of the day all that remains is the memory of a beautiful smile an important expression of a loved one!
